The special, characteristic brightness of “Filo di Scozia” comes from the mercerising process. The New Marbas fabrics undergo the mercerising process twice, obtaining the perfect quality so typical of the name with its “triple mercerised”. The skeins and fabrics are continually immerged in special solutions, following a “recipe” that foresees percentages, temperatures and times that have been defined through years of experience and tradition.

The yarns are instead coloured using times and methods that are dictated by high technology and human expertise, in order to guarantee perfect reproductions of colours. New Marbas uses only the best colorants and additives for its yarns, all strictly compliant with environmental laws, which can guarantee stability and resistance over time, even after several washes.
